Powerful & Poetic
Vorpal Hedge is a direct homage to “Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll
In the poem, a hero enters a bewildering “tulgey wood” to face the Jabberwock - a terrifying beast with “eyes of flame,” “jaws that bite,” and “claws that catch.”
The Jabberwock is a mythical beast of nonsense, confusion, and bluster - a perfect metaphor for the bloated, slow-moving, hype-driven consulting industry.
Clients are navigating a confusing and dangerous environment filled with jargon, hype, unethical practices, and hidden traps.
Jabberwocks abound and are the embodiment of the threats facing clients: overpriced consultants, self-serving tech vendors, and billion-dollar transformation projects that go nowhere.
Its "jaws that bite" are vendor lock-in; its "claws that catch" are missed deadlines and endless change orders.
To slay this beast, the hero uses a “vorpal sword.” A blade so sharp and true it cuts cleanly through the monster in one decisive stroke and saves the day.
This sword is clarity, sharp enough to cut through any amount of jargon, obfuscation, and false promises. It’s the unvarnished truth. It’s a strategy so sound, it can’t be ignored.
Vorpal evokes that piercing sharpness, cutting through nearly a century of consulting BS: from recycled decks to commissioned technology recommendations.
We don’t wield the sword.
We forge it, sharpen it, and place it in your hand.
But a sharp sword is only an instrument of destruction. A hedge is an instrument of protection. It is a defense against risk and volatility. Hedge is our promise to you - a hedge against risk, a hedge against hype, and the sharp edge you need to win.
Vorpal Hedge draws from this whimsy with deadly seriousness: We're the vorpal blade in a world overrun by consulting Jabberwockies - bloated firms spouting nonsense, devouring budgets with hype and half-truths.
Vorpal Hedge is your weapon - fun in its irreverence, inspiring in its empowerment, and powerful in its precision.
Vorpal Hedge exists to help you cut through the noise and slay the monsters of mediocrity and malpractice.
We give you the edge by being your hedge.
